I find myself ...You have hit the nail on the head. I find myself being pulled in too many directions leaving the leftovers for my family. I've gotten better at saying no, but it isn't easy. I'd like to make a new rule for everyone.(is that possible?) If someone asks you to do something and you say "no" that is final. I have come to the conclusion that people who persist are disrespectful. When I say no it isn't because I don't want to assist in the endeavor or task, it's most likely because I am saving some of my gifts and talents for my family.
